To promote the new Moving Minds of UCLL, XPLab was tasked with the creation of a fun arcade machine that showcased the diligence and creative drive of our university.
So, we created the Moving Minds Arcade, where you can play as Lampy. Use different robot upgrades to navigate the environments, remove obstacles and solve puzzles!
I loved experimenting with mech-elements, especially in contrast with a cutesy face. It gives the character a certain determined positivity that borders on the unhinged. In that way, Lampy became the unintended representation of XPLab, a little unhinged, but positive and determined!
