In co-operation with the city council of Leuven, our team made a kiosk that shows off the historical building process in stunning holographic imagery. The kiosk consisted of three HyperVSN holo projectors, encased in plexiglass, with a cutout for a touchscreen. Here, users could select a specific historical period, and read about the changed that occurred in that era. After selecting a period, a 3d model shows up on the holo-projectors, rotating so users can see every angle of the city hall and the nearby church. We worked together with Leuven's City archive, who provided us with historical documents and a meticulously assembled timeline of changes. This helped us create an accurate depiction of the buildings, even when pictures references were absent.
